Middlebury Hills Restaurant

Nestled in the green hills of Northern Indiana, stands a pancake house and
restaurant enjoyed by local diners for generations.  The chairs are
comfortable, the smiling waitresses are attentive and always polite, and
even at the height of the breakfast hour it's never too crowded.

"Our customers won't say much about it," says Katrina, a waitress at
Middlebury Hills for several years, "but they like the cushioned seats and
all the exctra room between the tables."

Another big plus is the secondary sunlight flowing in from all three sides
of the specious dining area.  The only direct sunlight comes in from the
East at breakfast time, giving a bright and summer-like feeling all year
round.

The owner, Jackie, also finds time to be the full-time Manager, even with
6 children of her own!  And she likes to remind her customers, "Middlebury
Hills is just like a special child to me.  She needs discipline and
attention, and just the right amount of tender loving care," she says with
a happy grin, "and I try to never forget - a comfortable customer is a
happy customer.  If you have that, everything runs smoothly," she adds,
"when everyone is happy with their seating, their food, their sevice.  It
just makes the whole experience pleasant for everyone."

A friend once asked Jackie if she would ever consider all-night service.
After all, with a bright and roomy restaurant, and low prices for most
everything on their extensive menue, the many truckers passing through
each night would soon make Highway 20 and CR13 a favorite destination.

But Jackie insisted that a 24 hour effort would eventually result in a
lower level of service, which she would never allow.  "My family has been
in the restaurant business for many years, and we know there are basic
quality standards that should never be compromised:  fresh food;
exceptional service; and a warm and friendly atmosphere.  Every day, the
entire staff at Middlebury Hills is expected to live up to the highest
level of these standards."

Wow! I had an omlette and it was huge and delicious.  Each entree is enough for two.  You definately get your money's worth.  One of the best finds to eat at in the Middlebury area.
