There are community classes where you can send employees to take CPR, First Aid, AED or Blood Borne Pathogen classes. Check out the dates and times at www.elkhartredcross.org under upcoming classes. OR, for convenience the Elkhart Red Cross can come to your workplace and conduct classes on-site. You can also have a private class at the Elkhart Chapter location as well. What is Elkhart County Chapter, American Red Cross about?: There is a place where ordinary people transform compassion into lifesaving action every single day. They give help to victims of disasters from house fires to tornadoes. They give blood to save the lives of complete strangers. They prepare our youth to respond and to be tomorrow's leaders. The reach out to people across town and around the world. That place is your Elkhart County Chapter of the American Red Cross. HOW TO HELP: The American Red Cross is not a government agency, and therefore is not funded by the government. The Ameican Red Cross functions as a private organization with public responsibilities.
